I've heard that over a certain number of seats in a bus commercial insurance is needed.
Is this true? How much is commercial insurance?

I am thinking of taking my 2003 Tioga 26Q RV on the road while I do seminars around the U.S.

I expect to put on about 20-30M miles per year. I carry my supplies in the RV, and they are valued at about $2,000. plus my personal items.

The RV has 7,000 miles on it now and new it cost about 58,000.

Can you give me a quote?

I have a 1970 International Harvester Loadstar bus that I am planning on putting three couches in that would accomidate ten passengers. I plan to use it like a limo bus to transport people around town and I was wondering where I could find insurance. thanks.

I would like to purchase a used school bus to haul seniors to our ballroom. we do alot of senior dances but it is hard for people to get there. i drove for greyhound and have a lisence and experience to drive it. where can i get a quote on insurance. we would not be driving it more than a max of 100 miles from home location.

also i have 2 sons which build limo's and specialty cars. we haave been working on a design where we could take like a frito-lay delivery truck )because the body's are all aluminum) rebuildting them putting in roll bars, windows and truck seats with seat belts and paneling them inside, with proper lighting etc. first class job and convertingn them to 15 passenger busses. these conversions look very nice and are more saafe then anybus on the road. i could then use bus drivers to haul peoople. could you insure something like this, after it passes inspection. these would be 15 passenger and i suspect we would convert at least 20 of them.

could you give me a aprox price on 5 million for the 53 passenger and 3 million on the 15 passenger conversions.

we are very quality consious. we wouldnt be hireing a driver with less then 10 years school bus or similar experience. nobody under aprox 35 years old.

We have a large bus company that sells school buses and commercial buses.We are looking to provide some sort of temporary insurance (transporter type) to sell to our clients that purchase. Some clients come from out of state or the country. We are in New York state.
Possibly you may have an answer to our problem.
