Any one ever heard or had contact with Intercontinental "Acceptance Corporation out of Huntersville, NC. Bad or Good/
I am looking in to purchasing an extended warranty for my boat. A friend of mine has Intercontinental Acceptance and it paid off big time. He had $2000.00 worth of problems and he paid $200.00 to get it fixed. Can't beat that. Their number is Intercontinental Acceptance
Corporation admin. offices (888) 661-7814
Hopefully this helps.
I purchased a policy with Intercontinental Acceptance Co. in Nov 2000 but I'm not sure how long the policy is good for. Of course I haven't had any major problems with my vehicle until now and I would like to find out about my account status. I would also like to find out about purchasing coverage for my other vehicle because the 5 year/50,000 mile extended warranty just ran out. Can anyone pass on any good information about my issues? Thank you.
BEWARE!
When you buy an extended warranty for an RV - make sure it covers RV costs.
We purchased our first RV from Lazy Days in Seffner Fla a year ago and were povided a "full 5-year/100,000-mile engine and transmission" 2000 Premium Plus warranty - chosen and paid for by Lazy Days because, unknown to us, there was an incorrect odometer reading when we placed our downpayment. We thought they were generous and trustworthy, protecting their customer from future problems! WRONG!
Unfortunately, the warranty's unrealistic requirements and reimbursesment limitations are based on automobiles - NOT RV's. Our diesel engine failed in June and we are stranded in the Cummins repair parking lot - now day 54.
Rocky Mountain Cummins in Alburquerque has been Wonderful! Lazydays has chosen not to help.
