USA Travel Care Keith 3-9-02
I just got a quote from a company called USA Travel Care selling Extended Warranty on my 5th wheel. Anyone heard of them? Are they legit?
Re: USA Travel Care Bob 8-25-02
I just received information about the same extended warranty from the dealership I bought my Jayco 5th wheel as well. By checking the competition, it seems a pretty good deal. Other ones basically cover the same kind of services and the detuctible is 50.00 dollars. USA Travel Care does not have a deductible. Let me know if you have a price on the 7 years service warranty. I have not gotten a price yet. The other competition was $1250.00 for a 24 foot Jayco.

HI! What was the outcome of the USA Travel Care conversation? We just purchased a Class A - 40 ft Diesel with 3 slides... we are being quoted $3800 for 7 years and I'm completely clueless about extended warranties and have until Friday to decide. Hmmm. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Bettye

American Guardian Warranty, a total ripoff in my opinion Scott Kraft 1-26-04
I would NEVER buy a warranty from American Guardian Warranty again. THEY ARE A TOTAL RIPOFF in my opinion. They will do anything not to pay a claim. I have had to sue them (their agent) twice and both times they paid and it never went to court. They make processing a claim very difficult.

They say you can take your vehicle to any dealer, but then they argue about shop rates, and part prices and don't pay the full amount. They almost NEVER return phone calls, and put you on hold a very long time when trying to get info on a claim. I put in a claim for travel expenses on a covered breakdown and they denied the claim saying I lived in the city of the breakdown. Their computer mysteriously switched my address to the "new city". This happened TWICE! Then to keep me from pursusing the matter they said they would sue me for FRAUD! I could NOT believe it. After submitting 54 reasons documenting my residence including my TAX RETURNS, property tax bill, childrens school transcripts, etc. they still ignored my request.

Although I have had some claims paid by them, it has NOT been worth it. I paid over $2,500 for my Warranty Agreement. I had a dealer tell me to not come back if I was using the warranty as they said it was not worth their time dealing with American Guardian Warranty.

Note: The average time it took for me to get my car repaired was over 1 week, due to the "red tape" put forth by American Guardian Warranty, which included inspections, lack of return phone calls, delayed payment, delayed approval etc.

Make sure to check what warranty you are getting, as many "agents" sell warrantys that are backed by "American Guardian Warranty".

I WOULD NEVER BUY A WARRANTY THAT USES AMERICAN GUARDIAN WARRANTY AGAIN!

(note if you search on the net you will find story after story of problems with American Guardian Warranty, I wished I had done my homework first)

DOES ANYONE HAVE A PHONE # OR WEB ADDRESS FOR USA TRAVEL CARE?
Re: USA Travel Care Tom S. 10-15-05
We have a 2005 Country Coach Magna and are seeking an extended warranty. USA Travel Care came highly recommended by my friend and his dealer, but after reading these posts I'm concerned. I'm looking for very complete coverage. After everyone has done so much research, what's the considered the best and most reliable company around??
Re: USA Travel Care Sue 2-4-03
I just found a website but it doesn't provide to much info. It does give some company information and warranty information. www.rvsales.com/amguard/motorhomes.asp
I search by using the parent company American Guardian Warranty.

Re: American Guardian Warranty, a total ripoff in my opinion Robert 3-28-04
American Guardian is American Modern Life and I have reasearched this company and it is rated A+ at A.M. Best. They are reputable and have never had a problem yet. The key I realize is get a claim number always BEFORE having work done, and you will never have a problem. One thing else I notice. DO NOT GO TO WarrantyAdvisors.com. They portray themselves as a consumer advocacy, BUT it turns out they are affiliated with Warranty Experts.com. They are not bias and are attempting to slam all the others just to promote their warranty company. Becareful when dealing with this company. They are decietfull. I found RVprotection to have checked out okay and I am going with them. Will keep you posted.
