|American Guardian is a total ripoff||Roger Boulett||8-19-09|
|When I bought my car last year, I purchased an extended drivetrain warranty from the dealer whcih was with Americn Select Warranty. They were bought out by American Guardian in January, from what I'm told by the dealer. I have a claim currently going on, where I lost my timming belt on my Subaru, which has taken out the engine. I have been witrhout the car for over a week and all they due is drag their feet and every excuse in the book about repairing my car. I have already called the Insurance Commission on them and they are sending me a complaint form. From what I have been told, they have 30 days to settle and repair the car, or they have to pay double endemnity.|

We wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with more information about our company so that we can help you, and future viewers of this thread. We did NOT purchase the company "American Select Warranty" and are not associated with them. In fact, when you Google search that company's name, there are no accurate search results associated with that company name. Our company, American Guardian Warranty is a company committed to making sure that all the issues and claims of our customers are fulfilled. AGW serves 535,000 customers and makes payments of nearly $20 million annually. We welcome our customers to contact us for any issues that they have. At AGW, we work tirelessly to make sure we meet the needs of our customers.
We have been working with the Better Business Bureau since May 2000, to help satisfy our customers and their needs. The BBB is an independent party that provides a fair solution for both consumer and business. They have given us an A+ rating, which is the highest a company can achieve. The only way a company can receive such a rating from the BBB is to resolve issues with consumers using the BBB's solutions. In the past, we've seen companies receive complaints that did not resolve their issues as we have. In one case, a company earned an F rating from the BBB for failing to respond well to complaints and then a few months later they went out of business.
We would like to provide you with appropriate contact information so that you can easily reach us. We encourage individuals to thoroughly read through their service contracts to better understand the terms of the agreement.
We welcome any and all inquiries regarding our company and its products. For additional information check out our website, read our brand new blog, email us at email@example.com, or give us a call at 1-(800) 579-2233. We look forward to hearing from you!

|AGW - dishonest and won't work with you. BBB is only one way of rating a company - many folks give up and don't file claims with BBB - Just look it up on a web search!|
AGW- total ripoff indeed!
