When I bought my car last year, I purchased an extended drivetrain warranty from the dealer whcih was with Americn Select Warranty. They were bought out by American Guardian in January, from what I'm told by the dealer. I have a claim currently going on, where I lost my timming belt on my Subaru, which has taken out the engine. I have been witrhout the car for over a week and all they due is drag their feet and every excuse in the book about repairing my car. I have already called the Insurance Commission on them and they are sending me a complaint form. From what I have been told, they have 30 days to settle and repair the car, or they have to pay double endemnity. |
