Find a company that has backhauls. Find out what each companies requirements are for licensing, insurance, and vehicle and accessories. How much they pay per mile and all fees they charge. Do a search in Indiana yellow pages in yahoo under transportation services. Elkhart, bristol, goshen are big cities for this search. Some companies are Bennett Trucking who has like 7 terminals you can pull from across the Country versus going back up to Indiana for each pull. Horizon Transport, Classic Transport, JET, Star transport, Hourglass transportation, southeastern transport, hoosier transport. You have to have a drug test, dot physical a dot truck inspection. This is a great job if you're retired and just want to see the country and pay for fuel, food, and minor expeneses. Feel free to email if you have any questions.

Patrick, You sound like a man in the know. Maybe you could help me with some info to get me started. I intend to deliver school busses out of Tulsa, OK, and maybe motor coaches out of Miami, OK. I will tag along an Isuzu pick-up (28 mpg) for return trips: but hope to find other vehicles to bring back this way, or somewhere. I have located two other bus manufacturers, both in the southeast, and a fire truck manufacturer in Wisconsin. There are probably motor coaches in Indiana I could deliver, and if I knew what and where they are, all kind of other oportunities. Do you know how I can find vehicle's for delivery all over the country? I need to be able to tow my Isuzu. Thanks for any help you can give me. Romo

I would like some information about hauling or transporting RV's. I currently work as a long distance furniture mover, and enjoy driving across the country. I own a brand new Ford F-150, and if I thought I could make money at delivering RV's I would buy a new F-350 with a 5th wheel for heavy-duty hauling. Thank You
