Gas Mileage Bill Lawhorn 11-28-07
I am looking at buying a used Chinook concorse. I would be interested in knowing what kind of mileage they get with the 460 and triton engines.

Thanks Bill

Been watching for an answer to your question. I think you would stand a better chance of the answer if you gave a little more information, i.e. year and size of the RV.

I have a 1995 28' Shasta on a Ford E350 chassis and it has a 460 engine.

My milelage averages 8 to 9 mpg. Limit highway speeds to about 60 mph usually results in 9 mpg range.

Good luck with your project.

John

I am thinking of buying a Chinook 1998 or newer with a 350 V10. We have had motorhomes in the past and know the mileage isn't really good on any of them but we have never has an RV this small, 21 ft. Thanks K.
