I recently bought a 1990 warrior 6 clyinder and drove it 800 miles at 60mph i got around 16mpg. later on got the feel of driving it drove 65-70mph and fuel dropped to 13-14mpg, last 200 miles tired and sleepy drove 70-75 got 12 mpg so i think one should try for 60-65mph and a little faster down grade. hope this helps in some way.have fresh tuneup now and will re check milage to see if any inproovements larry
In GOOD running condition, at a reasonable speed (55-60 0n cc), 16-18 has been reported. Empty all holding tanks before you hit the highway, carry only enough water to drink while driving, and your mileage will improve.
