Small C w/ island bed? baysidegal 12-27-06
What are some suggestions of small C's (under 30')
with an island bed or a sofabed that is easier to get in and out of for DH with arthritis?
Re: small C w/ island bed? John Newman 1-6-07
I have watched your post from the start and was in hope someone better qualified than myself would post an answer.

I have previously owned two Class A motorhomes and now own a 1995 Class C. The C motorhome is a 28 1/2 ft. Shasta on a 350E Ford chassis. It has the modified queen size island bed in the back.

Bedroom walk around room is pretty good, you walk through the bath to get there from the kitchen, the floor is level from the back of the cab seats to the rear of the bedroom (there are three steps to enter the vehicle). Up front is a dinette which makes a small bed, a fold-out couch which makes a bed and of course, the sleeping area over the cab.

There are many Class C motorhomes out there which have the same basic set-up. When you get a shorter version, you begin to loose the rear bedroom and only have the other areas for sleeping.

Hope this helps,
John
