1983 18' sunrader by luke
Post New Message I recently bought a 18' sunrader, and i got it for almost nothing, because the owner saw a beat up motorhome, vandals got to the interier and destoyed it, and moss was covering the exterier, when i got it home i stripped it down to nothing, and i cleaned it, then i painted graphics on the exterier like the new models, and i then bought a totaled 20' fithwheel and removed its interier, and put it into the sunrader, and when it was all done, it was like a new 18' unit that just came off the assembly line, and in total, it cost me 4,000, and two weeks of time, and it is better than anything i see on the market today, and i was offered 20,000 for it, but i did not sell it,because i could never replace it for less than 50,000, with gas prices the way they are the toyota sunrader has no fear, so you lucky few that has this model, you have a gold mine, if you restore your unit, instead of selling it, you too will have a one of a kind rv, who wants to spend a fortune on a new unit, when you have the most sought after motorhome ever made, the new chinooks will never compair to these, in price, or affordalility
