Bought a used ('91) Mallard Class C and need maintenance advice	T.J.	7-17-06
I just bought a 28 foot 1991 Mallard Class C from my brother who has cared for it very well. I am looking for resources for advice on maintaining this thing. It is 15 years old and everything runs well on it, but he doesn't have any of the manuals that come with it. Where should I look for guidance on properly taking care of this thing? Thanks.

Good morning there is a very good book a called Rv Maintenance & Repair manual from "Trailer life books" about $20.oo it will help you tremendously -it deals with everything in almost any rv-- some rv dealers sell them and most Camping world stores too each appliance reefer, stove, ac,ETC; manuals can sometimes be had from the internet-PDF file from the company.most have toll free #'s just get model and serial # and call them- rich.

Mallard was bought out over 10 years ago and they discontinued their RV line completely. I have some fairly generic manuals that came with my 1988 Class C that I could photocopy for you. I've also been told that you can get support and manuals directly from Fleetwood, but I haven't been able to get a clear response from them as to whether or not they provide manuals for the orphaned Mallards.
