We are near the Water Gap and have an '82 Toyota Motorhome with 67,744 miles, 4 cyl, 4 speed, rear tandem wheels........not the fastest vehicle on the road but it goes anywhere
We have a 1992 Toyota Itasca Spirit 22' motorhome in superb condition with only 28xxx miles, stored all its life under cover except for 4 months. Immaculately maintained, never a leak or bump. Extras, besides standard equipment, are a tv signal amplifier and an electric water, and a new, smaller, nicer, and more efficient microwave relocated to allow the cabinet housing the original to be used as a regular overhead kitchen cabinet. The stove has never been used. We do not like propane, and never use it; instead we use the electric setting on the fridge. This has a generator with about 40 hours on it. Newer Hankook RV tires replacing Bridgestones during the Firestone/Bridgestone scare. New shocks on front for added stability (Monroe; Bilstein would have been overkill). The dangerous original "air suspension" assist has been replaced with very heavy duty Hecketthorn gas variable ratio springed shocks for greater stability. Due to extended family health and other limitations, we have not been able to use the unit for over three years, but have kept it polished, lubed, and "excercised" on regular drives every few weeks. Units of the same genre with 80+K to 100+K are going for around $13,000 on e-bay (see current and recent listings). We are asking 13,900. Barring accident, this unit would last a middle-aged couple the rest of their RVing lives. Would appreciate hearing from you if you are interested. When I sell a vehicle, I ask the buyer to bring a cashiers check made out to me or to himself (ie, Thomas White or John Jones) Then, if the buyer gets here and doesn't find the vehicle as expected, or just simply feels buyers remourse coming on, he or she can just go home and deposit the check to their account, no hard feelings. I sold a 93 Toyota Itasca Spirit and an '84 Eagle this way, and both were very pleased. Happy Holidays!
Tom White, we are interested in getting more information regarding your RV. Please contact us at your earliest convenience at martto@aol.com. Thanks and Happy New Year!
