Can't seem to find ANY specs at all for this camper.. don't know how big the water tank, holding tanks are, for instance. Some info on dual rear tires, anything would be helpful!!
I have a 1990 Odessey, coach had electricle fire and completely destroyed. Rear axel not not touched, neither is engine or transmission touched. V6 with power boost only 60,000 miles. I'm still crying over it and can't seem to find a new one. I don't know where you are, but I am in California
Would someone please answer this question? It seems I have read that the rear axle sometimes breaks on toyotas older than ????? year. If so, what is that year. Perhaps Mr. Keeran can answer this since it happened to him. But answer from anyone would be appreciated. Thanks
I have a 1982 toyota motor home I'm trying to save. I need a rear end assembly for it, or just a passenger side axel shaft. Im in Michigan if that helps.
Interested in your Motorhome. Did the fire affect the living area? Will it still drive? How much are you asking for it now? Call me 801-840-5428 or email me at gracalada@yahoo.com
The rear axle breakage was mostly on motor homes built on Toyota pickups. Before 1988 or so the motorhome makers were putting dual wheels on axles intended for singles. The dual wheels moved the center of stress outward. Many of the earlier MH's had their axles repalced after several people were injured. The axles intended for dual wheels all have six lug nuts so any Toyota based motor home with 5 lug nuts on the rear wheels ahould be avoided.
