Bought a new 2004 Sunseeker with 2 slides. Neither slide works very well. The living room slide was manufactured out of square. When dealer requested a fix from the factory, they were told, believe it or not, to extend the slide and then back it slowly up against a power pole until the slide become square. When I talked to Dan Evans, the factory rep at Forest River about this questionable fix his reply was "we do this alot". Whats worse is that the dealer actually attempted this fix and found that it did not work. Finally factory sent new side wall, and the dealer had to remanufacture the whole living room slide. After this was accomplished, the slide then set too far to the rear by about 1/2", and rubs on the kitchen cabinets when it is operated. This could not be adjusted so the factories fix was to pull the slide mechanism drill all new holes and then remount. I would not allow this fix to be accomplished. The vinyl in the bathroom is curling up around the edges, like it had been flooded. Neither slide operates smoothly. The generator is configured without automatic switching, so that in order for it to power the coach, you must get out and plug the coach power cord into the generator. If I were to sum up the quality of Forest Rivers products in one word, that word would have to be
"substandard". I am now in the process of applying for arbitration under the states Lemon Law. For anyone in the market for a new class C motorhome I would strongly suggest that you think long and hard before buying a Forest River product especially a Sunseeker M/H
