Can anyone tell me if a small (300 watt) invertor is worth the money. I have a generator and would like to run a tv off of my battery while I am on the road with my family. But my major question if my alternator will keep the invertor going or not? Let me know, I am planning another trip very soon! Thank you :)

Check out http://www.statpower.com/cstech.htm for info on inverters. I bought a refurbished one from them for a reasonable price. I have it connected to my coach battery. Beats running generator when kids play Nintendo...
