Hey Kimmi!
actually i've got the same problem on my class c in the overhead cabin.i ordered Eternabond tape to fix the leak from outside. dude, thats great stuff.
inside i had to be refurbished everything like woodpanel on the wall and on the bottom from the cabin.
But one thing that told me another member, never use silicon on your rv.
Try that link!
I have a 1985 Toyota Sunrader with 38,000 miles and 22R engine getting 17-23 miles per gallon depending on mph.
Sleeps 4 with one memory foam mattress; shower and heater with comode.
I in the midst of repairs of oven and two weeks ago the axle broke and I am looking for bettter axle- a one ton instaed of the orignial 3/4 ton rear axle. This model is know for this. Can you find a one ton axle with 14 inch wheels? Mine does not leak.
Best way to fix leak -remove all the calking and look at the cracks then fill them in. It worked for my fiberglass roof.
I aggree about not using any type of hardware store caulk. but i do aggree about taking it down to the bare metal and starting from there. mabe you could go to a local body shop and get some advice from a (hopefully helpfull) tech. just rember once in the sealing process, super smooth should be the goal. that is in my opinion. Im a concrete finisher.(pro. smother) lol
