:I have a 1985 Nissan with a sunrader (15ft). I get around twenty MPG on the open road, but I usually draft trucks. If there are no trucks and there is a head wind then I get substantially less miles on a tank. I do wish my tank was larger than the 18 gallons or so it takes now.

Garret, you should get 13-17 mpg depending on terrain and how steady your foot is on the gas pedal. I have a 91 v6 and get 16-17 on level terrain at 70 mph. Hope this helps. Stan/Mi.
I'm interested to purchase a mid-80s Sunrader or Chinook. Please contact me directly at Dhira@aol.com if this is still available. (Or anyone else reading this who has one!) Should be in good mechanical order as I have no inclination to deal with such things. Interior improvements I can handle! Thanks.

I have a 1988 Nissan Sunrader for sale. I've been very happy with it. Has 50K miles and a 6cyc engine. Plenty of power especially in Rocky Mountains. I may be sorry trying to sell it. Interest let me know.
