What's the best "C" RV out there? I am more concerned with quality than price...this is my first rv purchase. Lynn 11-29-03
I am planning to ride across america next year and will have an RV follow me...friends will periodicaclly fly in to ride a week or two(we will also stay in hotels)...so I need room for bike boxes/luggage....I don't want anything bigger than 28'...as different people will be driving it (most inexperienced).
I am looking for quality...and would like to purchase in Feb.

After lookiing into and owning others for five years, I found my way to the only five star rated Class C-a BIGFOOT have a Bigfoot Class C-low miles and loaded-2001 29' arctic package, solar panels, 1,500 inverter, decor upgrade package, and much much more. you can e-mail me back for photos and more info. if like as i am forced to sell it now due to divorce-it is in a league of its own and you will almost never ever see one used as people dpon;t usually gove them up!!

If "they" are still around after 10 years of making a motorhome, then it probably had some good features that kept it alive.

I personally like Chinook for many of the above reasons.

Good luck with your search, Roger

I'm interested in more info. Smoking or non smoking? Price? Location?

Chinook, without a doubt. I did a good bit of research before purchasing one.
Re: What's the best mark 12-13-03
You may to look at the gulfstream Endura which is new for 2004. My wife who said she would never drive a rv finds this one easy to get around in... its very powerful! If your planning on towing, it has a 10,000 hitch, and it's ccc is excellent. Be sure to look at the ccc..we almost bought a holiday rambler atlantis but after loading it you would only have about 450lbs of additional weight you can put in it. That's not much and we didn't want to tell friends they couldn't come with us because they would put us over the weight limit. We actually put the Enudura in a Class all its own because there is really nothing else like it out there. Let us know if you have any other questions. '
Good Luck

I am thinking about buying a Class C motorhome 23 to 26 ft. that I will live in full-time so I need something that is good quality. I can pay approx. $15,000. What models do you suggest looking at? Also I noticed that many Class C's are rated for a temperature range of 30-80 degrees. I guess they would not be good for wisconsin in the winter time?
