I'm looking for a real small one (18' or less)... any make/model suggestions? Freddie 11-17-03
I'm new to all this, but i need a new home.for just me.
i want the smallest RV i can find that has fridge, stove+oven, toilet (shower a +), sink,
sleeping area separate from sitting (i.e. overhead cab + dinette for 2) would be nice. and i'd rather do without the extra couch i've seen in a lot of floorplans. as i would prefer a more compact and fuel efficient RV. to a more roomy/comfy one. i am hoping to boondock on friends' property so i want to be as discrete as i can. something 18' or under would be perfect. if that even exists...
there's so many makes and models to choose from. but for what i'm asking, there doesn't seem to be that many.
i'm also on a very tight budget so i'm looking for something used and i'm not expecting it to be any yonger than15 yrs old.
-- any suggestions of what makes/models i should be looking for?
or better yet, does anyone have anything like that in or around L.A.?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanx,
freddie

1990 Toyota/Odyssey 21’ 4X4 mini motor home

One of a kind, four-wheel drive RV, V-6 engine, 92,000 miles, runs great, recent valve job, Toyotas are usually good for 300k if you change the oil, new 31x10.50R15 radial tires on new 10.5 x 15 steel wheels, recent front end rebuild, new brakes, this thing can go anywhere, 4 burner stove w/oven, micro-wave, extra large three way reefer/freezer for extended outings, bathroom with separate shower, air conditioner, new on board generator (make margaritas anywhere), new 6 gal. water heater, new upholstery, new mini-blinds, awning, trailer hitch (for your boat), CD player, etc.
A solid little rig in excellent condition, built for the Baja but it’ll take you anywhere, asking $11,000 – can be seen at Silver Lake Park near Maple Falls WA, ask for Mac, or call (360) 599-2397 eves… or write to hellsranger@aol.com, I have photos (some from Baja)

PS; if it matters, we don’t smoke and it doesn’t stink.

This is about as small as it gets, super price for someone who's looking for a rig like this.

I've got a '96 Xplorer that's pretty basic. It's 18 feet (fits in the garage)- stove, fridge, sink, toilet, furnace, 3 bucket seats and a dinette in back that converts to a double bed. Low mileage - great shape(less than 50K)$14K. I'm in Michigan, so depending on where you are we may not be able to connect.
