Toyota Dolphin David 11-13-03
I am considering purchasing a toyota dolphin, but before I do I need to know if I am going to be able to tow my bikes behind it. I have a 6 1/2 x 12 open trailer and two quads... I don't imagine it weighing more that 1500lbs. fully loaded. I know the toyota dolphin usually comes in the 4cyl model. I jusst need to know if it will pull it without killing my engine.
Re: Toyota Dolphin Truth 11-16-03
One thing I can tell you about the Dolphin is the gas tank is small, 12 gallons. Normally, you'll get about 12 mpg without towing, so if you add another 1500 lbs, plus the added wind drag, you might have to stop every 80 to 100 miles.

Other than the small gas tank, we love our Dolphin. It's been a great addition to our family.
