I recently purchased a 1975/76 29' vogue mh. Everything works except the transmission. The previous owner claims it worked when he last drove it about 5 years ago. I am pretty certain that this has the 440 engine with the 727 trans. Does anyone have any suggestions on where i should start in problem solving this tranny. I checked the linkage and the shifter and it seems to be fine. It has tranny fluid in it and it is pink in color. I am hoping that it is something simple to fix and that i dont have to have it towed or pull the tranny myself to take it fixed. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
