Toyota chinook scott 8-16-02
Are you still interested in a chinook?. i have a sweet 1976 pop top that is in great shape. i bought it off a guy in oregon last year and only intended on driving it for the summer. it has i believe 115,000mi. on a 20R motor. i redid the interior so it is VERY cool. new everything from the floor up in the back living quarters. i drove it from eugene, OR through idahoe, yellowstone and grand teton national park where it drove excellent over every single pass we encountered, then through montana wyoming colorado nebraska iowa illinois to a festival at alpine valley, wisconsin. from there across indiana and ohio/pennsylvania to west virginia. then back across teh miswest to iowa which is where it is at now. the only problem i encountered ws in ohio where the regulator went out, which in turn caused teh alternator to blow. i replaced both and it ran like a champ back to iowa. i am selling it because i need the money to finish getting my pilots license. i am taking it to colorado in late august if i still have it and then back to eugene after that if i have not sold and/or traded it yet. as you can tell it runs great and i am not afraid to drive it anywhere. in fact if i still have it next summer, we are already planning on driving it to Denali national park in alaska!! let me know if you are interested still, i am sure teh chinook would love to be on the road as opposed to a storage unit in oregon for the winter. (it has spent its whole life based in oregon so its a rust free vehicle) thanks scott elliff selliff@iastate.edu

I have an 80 Dolphin like new with 42,000 miles, well equipped with dash and roof air. Live in Sacramento, CA.
This rig is super clean, it looks like it's never been used!!! Runs strong.
