|I recently purchased this motorhome. Everything seems to work except the batteries are not being recharged while driving. As the main battery dies the idle increases to try and recharge it. I am unable to find the problem however I did find a wire that was not connected to the electrical system. Where it appears to attach is at a small cylinder with 4 posts. I am unsure how to connect this wire since if I hook it to the wrong post it will cause problems. I am looking for a wiring diagram more detailed than the one provided by Fleetwood. It is general not specific. If you can help thanks|

|You have a couple problems I think.|
The chassis battery should charge regardls.
The small cylinder will have two posts with large stubs and two with small.
It was probably disconected when the house batteries went bad and never hooked back up.
1 small terminal will likely go to ground. The other small terminal will be hot when engine running
The large terminals will be hot from Chassis Battey and Hot from House batteries.
As to the idle increase, that would only happen if the chassis battery was in trouble, and it should not be unless you have a faulty battery or charging system.
