I just bought a 1980 Toyota Sunrader that has 27,000 original miles on it. I am fixing it up and have a question for all of you out there. It has a side dinette instead of the rear one I see in all the pictures. Was this an option, or do I have something different. It is 17 and a half feet, small, but should be good enough for my family. Any advice would be great on working on this, Thanks, WIll

There were a few floor plans for these, I forget exactly how many.
Your unit is just not the one they were using for their advertising.

I have been looking to the recall of the rear axle for these, and see I have one with the 5 lug wheels. I read somewhere under 18 feet was not part of the recall. Any other info on this? Thanks

Mine has 40,000 original miles... great find (and has the rear dinette). Do you, by any chance, have an owner's manual? I'd purchase a copy, if you do. Too, I need to find out what I need for a transmission. Mine doesn't like reverse. :-)
