I have a 99 Winnebago and my fridge works fine on gas while parked. However, when I have the motorhome in motion the gas detector/alarm goes off and the propane smell is enough to make you pass out. Again, if I am parked it will run for days on gas without incident. Garry

It is a federal violation to have an open pilot in transit the refer manufactures have designed these models to stay cool for 6-8 hours if the door is kept closed until you get to your destination if you have a d.c. feature that is legal to operate in transit hope this helped
