Class C restoration John M 10-27-08
I have a 1979 Travel Craft with a Chevy drive train The people I bought it from put new tires and a new toilet in it. It does have a all good appliances, I just wanted to know if I would be wasting my time and money on restoring it. It does have a leak problem.
Thanks
John

I guess it depends on whether you plan to keep the RV for your own use? I read a magazine article where a couple in California had an old Class A remodeled and rebuilt by professionals. Their reasoning was to save on tags, taxes and insurance since the vehicle was old enough to be registered in a classic/antique class.

On the Woodalls Class C website, a guy is rebuilding a Class C from the floor up (interesting just to look at). Look for "Fixing water damage to old class C".

Good luck with your project,
John
