Re: 2007 Jayco Seneca HD 35GS by Napa 34ss owner
Post New Message The Seneca line is a good product with a few flaws. The main issue is the rear leaf springs are not capable of handling the load of the vehicle itself, not to mention fluid in holding tanks and gear. The rear on every unit I have seen (including mine) sags. Several owners have tried to address this with Jayco and all they do is send you to Chevy to get new springs. Unfortunately, they are the same ones, so you end up droped in the rear after a couple trips. if you pay extra for the upgraded painted model like I did, you start to notice the areas where the paint does not stick for long, like molding, plastic end caps on drip rails and AC units up top.

Outside of these items and other quirks that all moterhomes have, they are awesome units to own and drive. The diesel hauls butt on the highway and it feels like you're driving a cadillac as you cruise at 70 without breakin a sweat. The mirrors could use a wider post on the passenger side, since the awning blocks some of the view. My doors on the cab are hard to open when I have it up on the stands. Everyone looks at you in this thing, so don't buy it if you cant stand the attention. I have given at leat two people tours on every outing. Sometimes I feel like I should sell them.
