The kind women excepted our offer in writing via email and we contacted Mountain lakes, we did qualify and were waiting for the transaction. Suddenly the kind women called us and said that she sold the resort to somebody else for more money.What type of person were we dealing with?

And a lot of times, that email from the buyer doesn't commit MONEY to the deal, the buyer could have backed out and the seller would have been screwwed if they had passed up on another offer! So this woman wanted the seller to take a risk for WHAT, a lower price!!!!
I think the seller was smart, and the buyer better next time cought up the cash and lock in a deal instead of complaining that how dare the seller get more money when the buyer wanted (maybe) crew the seller down on a cheaper price.
You the buyer shold sell cheap YOUR property next time to cough up money to put it were your e-mail "offer"was!

Say YOU were selling you car/home/whatever to someone, and before it was a signed deal, someone came and offered you more money if you sell to them? Common sence would tell you that if it was you, of course you would sell your home to the person willing to pay more. But some people can't quite understand it when someone else has the gall to reseve the same rights for themselves.
