I am just wondering how many of you have had an original contract that said when you transfer your membership that the contract could not be changed unless agreed upon by the seller / buyer. I am in the process of receiving a transfered account and in the original contract it states that they can not charge a transfer fee of more than I think its 5% of the original cost. I have received the transfer agreement and they have changed the contract as to when I decide to transfer or sell there will be a $750.00 transfer fee. This is not binding to the original contract i am curious as tohow many other members they have done this to. According to my attorney this is not legal. Please let me know if any one has had simular issues. |
