Anyone familiar with the RV Motorhome Camping situation around New Orleans?

I was there several years ago and the best campground I could find was a KOA very close to downtown bourbon street. I am sure more campgrounds have sprouted up. Check trailer life on line they have complete list of campgrounds in US, Canada. Hope this helps.

I live in New Orleans and camp frequently. If you want to came close to town, the KOA on Jefferson Highway is the only intown location. Othewise, you're better off staying in Slidell at the KOA or in LaPlace at the campground there.
