Does anyone know of any good, clean, family oriented campgrounds in Florida? (other than Disney?)
Amy,
I'm not sure as to what you are looking for in a campground or where. I've stayed several times at Sanlan Ranch in Lakeland. It is a nice place with pools, golf, and other things to do. It is also near Disney.
We just stayed at a campground northeast of disney called "Turkey Lake Park" it is run by the city of Orlando. it has 30 campsites, most with full hookups. the daily rate is $ 16.50. it is a beautiful secure campground with biking trails, fishing pier. it has bathhouse facilities(only weak element of this park, thier not bad about the same as many of florida state parks, but they could be better). after staying there over the thanksgiving weekend. it would take a $29.00 rate at fort wilderness to even consider it.
