If I was You I would not buy Membership at Fishermans Retreat. Fishing NOT... condition is behond poor, smells like a septic tank well overgrown....never again !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Country Store, Restrooms, Showers, Laundry, Water & Sewer Hookups, Dumping Station, RV & Trailer Storage, etc... 1. These memberships sell new for $7,999.00. 2. There is no cost for hook-ups (Electric, etc...), those costs are rolled up in the membership purchase & yearly dues. There are approximately 110 RV hook-up sites and 150 campsites available on a first come first serve basis at Fisherman’s Retreat and many more at the Oak Glen Retreat as well. What we have done in the past is pay very nominal onsite storage fee and then we are able to call the day before we come out, choose our spot over the phone and the Fisherman’s Retreat employee’s transfer our rig to our site, set it up and level it. We basically arrive, open-up and set up our awning, patio, etc... All of the Camp/RV sites are very near the 3 lakes and I wouldn’t say any of them are bad but there are some that I prefer that fortunately we haven’t had any big trouble getting if we call a little in advance and find out when what will be available according to the 14/7 rule.

Used to camp and fish at fishermans retreat with my Dad 30 years ago. Would love to return with my children and do the same. I have many wonderful memories thank you / sincerely Jeffrey Johnson

I used to camp and fish at this place 47 years ago. I remember that before I had my own fishing pole, we would rent a long cane pole for a quarter. We could go over by the side of a building and take our pick. Lots of bluegill and smallmouth bass then. Just drive down a dirt road to a house and a barn. There were three lakes if I remember right. I used to take my girlfriend(s) fishing there.

I am interested in the membership however I am finding them for sale in the green / white sheet nearly every week for $1500 to $2000 with the transfer being paid by the seller. What will you take for yours? If its fair we can arrange to meet at the campground and transfer it at the office. Let me know. Thanx troy
