I have an original, locked in, unlimited Thousand Trails camping package we bought back in 1980. We loved it, and used the heck out of it until my husband died.
I am willing to sell it for $500 plus transfer fees. I have not used my thousand trails membership in several years, but I think that since it is so old, the transfer fees are a lot less than then newer programs.
My program was an Ultimate Thousand Trails package which let you camp free at any thousand trails resort, and if you wanted to use their trailers, we got locked in at a $25.00 per night cost. flat rate.
I keep my dues up, but since I have not used the membership in several years, and have no children to will it to (our program says you can will it over three times during your membership), so it is a good deal.
It was the ultimate package, which cost us about $7,000 back in 1980.
The campgrounds are wonderful, but I am older now, so I do not wish to keep it.
