Help, i bought this 4107...suppose to have had a new clutch not long ago.. Drove it 4 hours home.. shifted perfect...now...wont move.. seems to go into gear ok.. NO GRINDING.. im thinking the CLUTCH STUCK DIS-ENGAGED...some how..? Is the clutch cable operated or rod linkage..? Im thinking if cable operated.. maybe cable hanging up and clutch still dis-engaged.. Cant belive shifted and ran perfect and now wont move... brakes releasing... maybe clutch disc center broke out...? any help appreciated... Mike in Ohio offy@windstream.net

GMC 4107 is a great bus. I have one also. The clutch linkage is a long 1/2 solid bar. The clutch is very difficult to destroy. Tell all you can about your situation. I have done a repower and trans change. Frank in Idaho

HI Frank, thanks for your help.. We went down and got the bus.. clutch disc has to be gone.. goes into all 4 gears...at least they grind as you check them... but.. when you shut off the motor.. put in gear. start motor with clutch out.. just a 'MOMENT' OF movement and then nothing... clutch disc worn...adj out to limit...so we had to LANDOW.. it back.. got back Sunday nite.. nice bus and now i get to put in a clutch.. cant wait.. need FULL FACTORY ORIGINAL SERVICE MANUAL.. condition not important. all page are...Mike in Ohio 740-638-5059
