I'am looking for a gas valve for a international furnace. This is a 2-stage valve, and is on a 60,000 B.T.U. unit. I know from experence, that they used the same valve on old duo therm furnaces. It has a 1/2" in and 1/2 " out, but burner pipe exits fron the bottom. Inlet is on the right side. From the past, it seems to me that i had to buy a remanufactered valve about 10-yrs ago. Are they still available? Jerry

I have a 1972 model duo-therm furnace in my 1972 American Eagle mobile home the pilot light lights, but the thermostat will not make it come on for the blower or the gas valve to open up for it to burn. My nephew says he thinks it needs a new transformer for the electical part is there some place close to Loveland, Ohio that I could purchase this part?

I have a Duotherm model #65920046. Everything seems to be working, but it will not light. When you turn the thermostat up the blower kicks in and it starts to make a snapping noise but will not fire. I don't see any sparks coming from the ignitor, should i ?
I don't smell any gas either. I'm thinking a gas control valve but i can't find any parts.

ANY INPUT WOULD BE HELPFULL

Hi, what temperature limit should I consider purchasing for my furnace when buying the part called "Thermo-Disc Limit Safety Control Switch"? My furnace model number is 3040 01-006 12.0 kw 180 F max outlet air temp, elec rating 240 v ac, 60htz, 1phase, element load is 12.0 kw.
50 amp ac, hp heating only 1/12 motor fla 1.5
Comfort cool certificate:
cold manufactures, addison homes, plant loc addison ala, home serial number 1435.

I am not able to read the numbers clearly on the malfuntioning part, but have located the part online, and I need to figure out what temperature rating to choose. I'm seeing parts available with temp range of 100 - 200 plus.

Looking for high limit switch. After it comes on, all runs good but shuts down total till it cools down fan wont keep runing. After cool it starts up again and does same thing.

James, I wondered what info. you were able to find about that Duo Therm furnace that you were asking about. 65020-5 I have one too, in a 1974 Terry camper. They have a 10-2 wire running to a 110 v. thermostat. That makes me think, I have never seen anything like this before. I'd like to have a repair manual. Would like to talk to you. Write me.- Karl
