Raisable roof for GMC van Chris Mendola 7-8-99
I'm looking for a source for a raisable roof conversion kit, or plans, for a full-size GMC/Chevy 3/4 ton van. Prefer hard sides as opposed to cloth. Have seen "TurtleTop" years ago. I only need a top that would be width of van and 4 to 5 feet front to rear so I can stand in van while camping. Thanks in advance for assistance.

Did you ever get an answer to your question? I am looking for the same kind of thing--a poptop for a minivan or for standard van. Thanks for passing on anything you have learned. jb I'm looking for a source for a raisable roof conversion kit, or plans, for a full-size GMC/Chevy 3/4 ton van.
