Howdy folks
I am a high school teacher who runs a non-profit called the Wheelchair Project. I have driven overland from Fresno, CA to Central America 9 times, and have also driven extensively in Mexico just for fun.
I use school bus sales, and bus parts, to support my project. I got into buses in 1991 because they were big, diesel, usually well maintained by public money, and the price was better than a big truck.
So now after 20 years of misc driving and hauling, I know a lot about the machinery and will share what I know with whoever needs some free advice.
Yes, It would be nice if you bought a part or a widget eventually, but not essential. I offer help so I can make contact with folks. I am very dependable and 100% honest when it comes to machinery. It either works, or it don't. And you don’t have to buy something from me, not will I “steer” you towards my stuff. If somebody has a good bus, I will tell you to buy it, or help you figure out the goods and bads.
So if you need to know anything about diesel, buses, or machinery in general, just drop me a line. I started working on motor vehicles when I was 13 (little racing “quarter midgets“) have owned at least 125 buses, trucks, pickups, motorcycles, generators, forklifts, etc. and drove a tractor trailer for Uncle Sam in Germany for 2 years, and have LOTS of old timer mechanic friends. I guess I can say, “I been there”
OK have a good one
