Darren, I just purchased insurance from Progressive Insurance. Maybe your issue is the wrong terms. I first called it a bus ex-commercial big rig 28,000lbs. Wow that quote hurt. We talked about it and They didn't care what the chassis WAS it's now just a "privately owned RV". On that no more mention of the fact that it was a bus, it's now an RV and quite a bit less costly than my mini-van insurance. The age of the vehicle is applied too, that helped for me. I recieved full coverage plus RV roadside assistance for less than $400yr. I also live in MT. Your quote will be different. Hope this helps. |
