Is there any solution for a loud and noisy brakes on a low floor Meritor axle with drum brake.

Is there any solution for a loud and noisy brakes on a low floor Meritor axle with drum brake. It all depends upon what is making the brakes noisy to begin with. It could be as simple as rust build up which will wear off after a good downhill grade or it could be a lining that is no longer attached firmly to the brake shoe. You need to be a little bit more specific as to when the brakes are loud and noisy and what kind of loud and noisy sound they are making.

Is there any solution for a loud and noisy brakes on a low floor Meritor axle with drum brake. The noise is mostly from the front brakes. It is a high oitch noise that comes on the last few feet before a complete stop. The noise is very active at 220 degree Farenheight and go away when drums reaches temperature above 300 F.
