8V71 Power loss Joseph Blades 11-23-99
About two weeks ago I notice a slight lack of power while climbling, it was smoking a lot for some time (black smoke)so we change all the injectors, fuel and air
filters. The smoking has stop but the lack of power is still there. Can anyone help?

Thanks Joseph...

Hello Joseph:
The first thing that come to my mind is setting the fuel rack with out backing out the idle screw (cause I did it), Force the low speed governor weights out and see if you are gettin full fuel. Otherwise I would say it is in the fuel. Filter, air leak, restriction, fuelpump.
