I know what you are going through looking for a GOOD RUST free unit. I looked for a couple years for a good one. Lots of rust on most all the ones from the Eastern area. I found one here in Southern Cal. I have a 1980 MCI 9 with a 871, 4 speed with 47,381 miles on it. I have striped the insides and it is ready for conversion. I must sale it due to a health problem.
