I am new to diesel engines but I had a discussion with a trucker last night and he was saying I could not find a 8v71 for under $4000 and if I did it would not be in good working order. I doubted him and was wondering if there is any truth to this.

I am looking for a way to add more horses power to a 8v71 detroit engine in a 1985 prevost got 95000 mile on a rebuit engine my number is 662-473-4322 or 662-832-7958

I have a line on some good running ones for about $3000 located in Canada.

Have 8/71 just pulled from eagle wet block good running was told it had 38,ooo mi. on overhaul I want 2100.00 for engine trucking must be furnished by you. reason for selling is I installed series 60-------(Don) oh by the way I reside in northern Ca.
