Hi, I am now looking for a directory of used coaches. I am doing some research now and in about 2 years want to begin building. I want to do some traveling cross country, at higher altitudes and along coastal highways. Does anyone have any suggestions for transmission/engine combinations? Also has anyone ever successfully turned an 12 or 13 foot tall coach into a double decker? Tom

Hello I would recommend at least an 8v71, depending on the size of the unit. For higher altitudes and climbing, most standard transmissions work really well. The 4 speed that comes stock in the early MCI 5's is excellant. I'm not sure of the make though.
