Looking for a 4501 logan 6-26-04
Yeah, I'm looking for a 4105 running or not. Cheap. Original with seats or converted. Preferably been sitting in somebody's field for 10-20 years. I don't care if its in pieces as long as all of the original pieces are there.

I am a mechanic, electrician, plumber. I have built a TDM 5302 from the ground up. It took six years, but it was worth it.

The reason why I ask for an original configuration of some sort is that I've seen a few of these butchered very badly. It doesn't mean that if the configuration was changed, that I wouldn't be interested, I would just like to look first (ie, raised roof, etc).

Can pay, can work, can do something, I've been tring to get one of these all of my life.

Hi Logan,
Two scenics are sitting in a field on the South side of I-80 near Winnemucca Nevada. They look in good body shape, painted green and white, and meet your criteria.
I'm an MC6 owner, and a freight conductor with Union Pacific RR, which is how I came to see them. I will try to get some more info next trip if we can stop for a minute.

Hi Logan again,
The two scenics I mentioned last week are still there, (3 1/2 miles West of Downtown Winnemucca Nev.) They are South of I-80, the former WP tracks, and the former SP tracks. I 80 crosses downtown Winnemucca from East to West, going Northwest. So, take the signs for the Amtrak Depot, (only a covered bench.) At the bench, go East, and turn right over the tracks, and right at the first street. Go st short of 3 1/2 miles, looking for the Scenics on your Left, (going West.) They are green and white, and look in good shape from a train!
