I have the opportunity to purchase a 1989 Prevost with 89K that had an engine fire. The bus was originally converted by Liberty. The rear 1/3 has damage. The rest of the coach, bays, glass, gen, awnings, etc. are good. In addition to the structural work (skins, engine), the interior needs to be redone because of the smoke damage. Does anyone have a suggestion for an inexpensive conversion company to redo the interior, or how much I can expect to pay for an interior remodel? Set up is as follows: rear; queen bed middle; bath shower bunks front; kitchen, sofa, 2 chairs, jumpseat, cockpit. Thank you for your suggestions! Safe Travels!
Good luck to you.
I looked at that very coach.Too bad you dont know a good cabnet maker.Try finding another one wrecked. and take out the guts.
Dont worry, a lot of nice people out there will help.
I own a body shop and decided i had enough work,LOL
I'm in the process of working on my '83 Prevost LeMirage. It's been an ordeal but I've been blessed growing up in an woodworking environment. My dad is 78 and still builds cabinets. I'm doing all my own work. I'm 48 and love to work in my shop. The one thing I hate about my Prevost is the curved windows and ceiling. I wished I would have rasised the ceiling up some so I could square off the ceiling. Your probably looking at $20m to $50m depending on how you design and decorate. My daugther is a int. designer so I'm lucky there too. One thing I suggest you look at is LED lighting. It's great because the bulbs only take milivolts to operate saving battery life. Holler back!
I'm looking for a company in the North L. A. county (Calif,) area that remodels RV's.
I live in Canyon Country, Ca. I want to remove a couch and install a small computer table/rocker recliner and replace the entertainment electronics. Anyone know of a reputable company? Thanks, Bob
