Anybody know where to get 4 new wheels for a 1958 Chevy Viking school bus? It has "suicide wheels" on her now! I want get them off!

By suicide wheels I assume you are referring to mulit-piece split rim wheels of some design.

If you have 10-hole Budd wheels, it is a fairly easy swap since they are available just about everywhere.

If you have Dayton "California Spoke" wheels, they are still available just about everywhere but not as available as the Budd wheels are. Especially on the left coast.

If you have 5-, or 6-, or 8-hole wheels, you could be in trouble. They are not as popular so they are not as available.

The best place to start looking is at your local truck tire shop if you want to purchase new wheels. If you want to try used wheels, there are several truck wrecking yards all over the country that might have what you need.

Be aware of the fact the less popular wheel stud patterns are going to cost more than the more common wheel patterns. Also, some of the least popular wheel patterns may no longer be in production which would mean you would have to find some good used wheels somewhere.

Would like to convert a ford/budd 6 hole wheel to a smaller wheel and tire. from 900/20 to 800/18 plus or minus. this is a old ford f 600 that i would like to convert to a smaller wheel and tire. any ideas??
