Sounds pretty good to me.
I bought a 1969 with a 1991 model

Your price is good, about what the rebuild cost on the engine. Look at the adjustments screws on the torsion links, there should be a couple inches of adjustment left on the screws. But if the Bus reads about 13 to 14 inches of height and is level you will probably never have to adjust the ride level. The rubber should look decent on the tors bars and not falling apart or deteriorateing.(biggest word I know)
I got the details on this when I purchased my 1981 Eagle, about ready to move inside and finish it. It is a wonderfully designed and built Bus!Ron...

Price seemes very fair. Here in South-western Idaho, I found and decided to pass on a rear engined school bus (not a Crown) for $10,000. It was a 25 year old bus, with a gas engine. I don't know about the rear susp. I've been looking for something for my wife and to do some full-time R.V.ing. We have been looking for some time now and really haven't found anything.
