|PD-4104 to R.I.P. Which parts to save?||BusTed||2-16-11|
|First off, a big thank you for the efforts of maintaining this site, I appreciate being your guest.|
I landed here because I found myself in charge of decommissioning some PD-4104s that are headed for the final home terminal.
I am not offering anything for sale at this time. I am here only asking for suggestions of any components which should be saved. I will use the appropriate section to list any items which may become for sale.
These 4104s are just common old tired and weathered coaches with stripped interiors, manual trans, manual steering.
Before they're gone, I thought I'd ask for suggestions of any pieces which,if saved, would be likely be found useful. I Understand that almost anything may eventually find a need, if saved long enough, but sorry to say, I don't have the time or labor to speculate that far ahead. However, I don't have the heart to waste what may be needed now by someone.
I'm not trying to get rich off this, but again, labor and time are precious. I welcome your practical suggestions for pieces which would likely find a good home. If it's possible and practical I'll pull the items and then in the future list them for sale in the appropriate section.

Rear window glass, all clearance lights, any straight baggage door "skins", the belt-line trim that wraps around coach just below window level, GM emblem from front of coach to name a few.
I understand that you are not currently offering anything for sale, however please keep me in mind if/when you do. I am looking for some of the above mentioned parts and would be interested in what you have and pricing, please.
Thanks and good luck!
