|1977 Camper...doutherm furnace....Problem seems to be : The pilot light lights, but will not keep burning....I thought it might be the thermal couple,But never seen one like this.....It has 2 wires connected to the gas? Box? Not just a small copper line like the newer ones.|
I guess I am asking...for an electrical
Diagram or explanation of whats going on. I want to go deer hunting with heat, not unsafe/unanswered problems..
Any/All Help greatly appreciated.

|What that furnace uses is a thermopile, sometimes called a milivolt generator (750mV). You can get a replacement here, type in this url. http://www.rvdealership.com/rvdstore/pc-120723-1-generatorpilot-750mv-n-38-diam.aspx |
I have the same furnace in my hunting camper and had to replace it 2 years ago. Make sure the burner and heat box is clean and it good condition before using it. Be safe and good hunting.
