I have a question about the 8.2 DD. I know this topic is about the shop manual. But it is also the only forum i can find that is active to date. I currently have a 8.2 in a small shrimp boat. It runs well and is good on fuel consumption. Here is the question. I have located a spare engine with 200,000 miles on it. The engine i have has turbo. The one given to me does not. Can i take the turbo off the current engine and put on the one that doesnt have a turbo? It looks like the bolting pattern is there for a turbo. Also, i someone can guide me in the right direction for the proper place to ask this question i would appreciate it. Thanks |
